A Luxurious Look With Wooden Venetian Blinds

Published by at 1:27 pm under Decorating

Even though these blinds have been used for hundreds of years, within the last 15 years they just started to get really popular. You can find these wooden venetian blinds in homes and businesses all across the world and for good reason! They have a really classic, and yet very luxurious look to them.

These blinds also come in an array of materials besides the wooden ones, but most people recommend the wooden one, simply because they have more benefits! First off, they really look luxurious without costing a ton of money like some of those other window treatment options out there.

Secondly, you have a good bit of control over light versus privacy with these wooden venetian blindstypes of blinds versus other blinds. These types of blinds utilize the use of slats – one over the other. So while you might want privacy, but you still want light to come in, you can open these to a certain degree and have both aspects.

Thirdly, this type is very easy to clean, especially the wooden ones. All you need is a duster and you can swipe them clean in a few seconds. Lastly, they are very easy to install and as with most other blind or window treatment products, when you buy a product you should receive all the items you need in the package to put the blinds up.

All you need to do is measure and go! The only bad thing about these blinds is that they are wooden. And as most of you know, wood can be very unpredictable – oftentimes it can warp or mold when exposed to lots of humidity. It is usually a good idea to buy wooden blinds that are faux rather than real when it comes to rooms like a bathroom because of the condensation that will be in this room.

For all the other rooms in your home you can use the originals, but for the bathroom and possibly the kitchen, you might want to consider a faux item just to be safe. These look like wood, but they are not!
