Published by at 5:16 pm under Space Saving Ideas

It might sound strange, but having around the home a portable closet on wheels can be very helpful. For instance, one use of these mobile closets is to facilitate laundry transportation. Assuming there are no steps in between the laundry room and the bedroom closets, an assumption that some won’t be able to manage, having a portable closet to move clothes back and forth is very convenient. Every portable closet out there, whether it’s a cloth closet, metal portable closet, or a wood portable closet, is going to mimic the inside of a real closet and give you storage space to hang clothes. This means when the clothes are dry and done, ready for hanging, no one has to scramble with a pile of clothes around the house before they wrinkle. You can instead conveniently push the portable closet into the laundry area, remove the clothes and hang them at once. When you’re done here, you simply push the closet into the room, and remove the clothes back to their proper closet. Simple eh?

Another convenient use is when the guests arrive, you don’t have to worry portable closetabout the host not having any closet space for their wardrobe if they stay overnight. On top of this, you don’t have to wonder if they’ll get into any closets at all, other than the portable closet you’ll move into their room, fresh and ready to be used. Guests will surely appreciate a nice open closet of their own when visiting – there’s no uncomfortable concerns about putting their items in the guest closet built into the room, which in most American homes is somehow full of clothes that aren’t the guests!

Having a closet with wheels isn’t revolutionary, but it sure is handy! Take a look at our own home and imagine how a portable closet could be of use in storing, organizing, and keeping the home clutter free.
