For a Japanese inspired look to the bathroom, vessel bathroom sinks are the ideal choice. They are very elegant and sophisticated, giving an Asian flair to the room which can complement various faucets and finishes very well. There are an abundance of different designs and finishes to create a stunning focal point in the bathroom.

The marble vessel sink is a very luxurious option for the bathroom. In many colors, the darker shades give a modern appearance whilst the lighter shades provide a more traditional look. An interesting enhancement is the mosaic appearance from marble cubes.

The onyx vessel sink is the ultimate sink to give the traditional Japanese look. You can find them in the normal bowl shape and also square or flat, sushi plate style. They have a highly polished smooth appearance and offer long lasting appeal. Finish with chrome or polished stainless steel faucets.

Installing a new bathroom sink will take some time and effort and involves quite a bit of plumbing. If you decide to install one of these sinks, I would advise using the services of a plumber. This will avoid costly mistakes both at the time of installation and longer term down the track.
