Only buy a hose fitting which is certified by the manufacturer of your hose reel. It is best if both the hose reel and fittings are manufactured by the same company. This will ensure that fittings are a hundred percent compatible and thus can be installed with ease. If fittings are of a different brand then there might be some problems during installation of hose. Water leakage is one of the most common problems faced by users of garden hoses. Water leakage occurs mostly due to faulty fittings and results in the wasting of water. Always use fittings which are marked “A grade” by some independent agency. Consulting the many existing users to learn about the services provided by different manufactures is always a wise move.
