So not only do you have to clean quickly, you also need to use effective but green items when you clean. Thankfully, Mother Nature has provided us a great all-purpose product and that is vinegar. Vinegar can be great when you need to scrub away lime build-up. All you need to do is create a grainy paste with two tablespoons of salt mixed with distilled vinegar. Start scrubbing and watch the lime disappear.
Baking soda and vinegar go great together and when you add a bit of liquid detergent to the mixture, this is a great cleanser for counter tops.
Drains often get clogged but there’s no need to buy some harsh chemical Draino to dissolve the offensive clogging material. Once again, baking soda and hot vinegar works just as well in clearing up clogged drains.
If you’ve left some food out and now find your home infested with fruit flies, leave out a bowl of vinegar and watch the fruit flies dive in.
