Transform your Garden with Teak Patio Furniture
For those lucky enough to live in a warm climate the patio area can become an extended living room for much of the year, and equal attention is focused on the outdoor patio furniture as the interior furniture. Even in more changeable climates it is becoming common for people to make the most of their patio. Even if a completely insulated conservatory is beyond the budget, there are heating and cover options available that can help make a patio serviceable whatever the weather brings.
Wooden patio furniture is a very popular choice for patio furniture, and teak
patio furniture in particular has a lovely natural look that adds a touch of class to any garden furniture set up. If you are in the habit of entertaining friends and relatives then you will probably want to expand your furniture to include extra chairs and tables, or a bench. Teak furniture can accommodate all the usual variations of patio furniture, including some unusual ones too.
An often underrated item of garden furniture for your sanctuary garden is the garden swing. These have been developed into items of garden furniture luxury, and come complete with special cushions, and an awning to keep you dry in all weathers. A garden swing would look particularly beautiful with a teak patina on the frame. Of course if you cannot yet afford the garden swing, another option is the humble but majestic garden bench.
There are many different options for a garden bench, from the simple unfinished wooden bench with or without arm rests, to the more elegant chaise lounges. Chaise lounges can make an excellent option as they also double up as a sun lounger, saving on both money and space. The elegant construction of the chaise lounge works well with the rich tones of a teak frame and you can have hours of fun choosing a vintage fabric, for that Mediterranean feel.
