The Zojirushi NP-GBC05 is the most expensive 3 cup rice cooker available in Canada and the United States. So does this mean that it is the best rice cooker? It is not its price that makes it the best but, yes, it is the best money can buy. It really depends upon whether you can afford to spend about $250 on a rice cooker that will determine if it is worth it for you. In my case, it was. Now let me be clear, I am not particularly fond of rice. But I saw the purchase of my NP-GBC05 as an investment opportunity.

Zojirushi rice cookers are well known for their high quality products, so I have confidence that my rice cooker will last for years. Not only that, because I have this fancy new rice cooker I am sure to make my own dinner more often. This in turn will save me money because I will not eat out so often. Therefore, after a year or so I am sure that I will have made my money back on the purchase of my new rice cooker.

Therefore do not focus too much on the up front costs if you can avoid it. Think more instead about the great tasting dishes that you will be able to prepare. Did you know that a Zojirushi NP-GBC05 can do much more than cook plain white and brown rice? For example you can use it to make steel cut oats as well as mixed rice style hot pot dishes. As long as it is a rice based dish, this machine can handle it. And not only that, it is easy to make your food taste great too.

I highly recommend the NP-GBC05 for people who want to eat a healthier diet and that live alone. It is the perfect sized rice cooker for a bachelor.
